Take a break and enjoy this simple and refreshing dessert that combines the crispy fragrance of deep fried bread with the tart flavours of  lime and blueberry and the freshness of fraiche cream. “Pane fritto in coulis di mirtillo e Panna fresca al Limone” ( In English, Bread with blueberry coulis and lime crème fraiche) will ensure you and your family  a great moment of relaxation in Pocoloco’s informal ambience .

Deep fried bread is a traditional recipe from the so-called “Cucina Povera” (the cuisine of the poor). Once, it was made with left-over or stale bread that was deep fried in oil in order to make it flavourful and appetizing. “Coulis” is a French word that means “sauce”, and Crème fraiche is a traditional French sauce made with fresh cream that has a thick and soft consistency.

In Pocoloco, we serve several traditional Italian desserts, like, for example, “Tiramisu”.  Our ice cream is great to cool oneself down during a muggy and hot day, while “Panna cotta” and “Torta alla vaniglia” will give you an idea of the great Italian cuisine. And don’t forget your “Espresso” at the end of your meal!
